Stone Water is a band from Hamburg, Germany, deeply influenced by the Rolling Stones, Black Crowes or Tom Petty. With these influences, its music moves along the ways of rock with southern accents and a touch of British rock.

This is their debut album they have just released with the aim to become known internationally. The band was formed during the pandemic, thanks to the idea of guitar player Robert Wendt who, during the loneliness of confinement, decided to write a series of songs that reflected the frustration of a musician forced to not performing at all, together with the creativity and ideas that came to his mind during that special moment. Robert relied on his good friends Bob Beeman, vocals, Artjom Feldtser, bass and Hans Schüler drums to give shape to the band, which was later joined by Ben Forrester on guitar.

The good chemistry with the musicians becomes evident along the eleven album songs, which display a very actual sound and, at the same time, developed in an honest sincere way, spiced with a touch of late sixties music, ranging from West Coast beat to swamp blues, delta blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s guitar licks and even bottleneck sounds included from time to time in some songs.

Certainly, Stone Water give an excellent contribution to the blues rock that is now performed in Europe. They also have enough quality to attract audiences and get a place in the difficult music market. VERY GOOD.
