A little bit of southern rock, another little bit of Americana roots music, some drops of funk and country, all framed with blues, is the explosive mixture that defines the style and the sound you will find in the album Like many bluesmen, the lives of singer and guitar player Pam Taylor and bass, guitar and mandolin player Robert Johnson Jr, have been often full of ups and downs Both scraped out a living playing here and there until fate brought them together The chemistry and understanding between them was immediate and quickly gave good results, as they started to dazzle people who used to go to their shows, thanks to a vigorous stage presence and an exuberant music display Both musicians give a relevant importance to the contact and communication with the audience and their ‘frans’, as they call their followers, which is a mixture of the two words ‘friends’ and ‘fans’ Both are also very concerned about social problems, so they give part of the money they earn to charity The innate tendency of Pam for the blues and the experience of Robert Johnson Jr in Americana music, perfectly match in an album performed with honesty and a large dose of feeling For the recording Pam and Robert have counted with more than fifteen musicians who do the best of themselves to round up a delicious well built work
