Born in a family where music was an important part of their lives, Stevie Cochran grew up listening to jazz though, since he has very young, he fell in love with the music of the Beatles but, overall, it was British rock-blues invasion which made him decide he wanted to devote himself completely to music At this point and as it could not be otherwise, the young Stevie got soon an electric guitar and followed the footsteps of his heroes From 1968 on, Cochran spent many days listening to Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton albums trying to learn from them all possible knowledge Finally, in 1973, he decided to start his career as a guitarist For more than thirty years Stevie has carried his sophisticated powerful rock-blues all over the world on a non-stop career, with a dozen high quality albums, like this one I am now reviewing Eleven well made songs, where the technique and mastery of their powerful music opens the doors to a new and unbridled concept of 21st, century rock blues
