Belgium has a wide range of good bands which devote to play and perform blues, one of them is the one led by singer and harmonica player Steven Troch which this year has represented Belgium at the European Blues Challenge held in Malmö, Sweden.

This is his third studio album where he adds new musical elements that help to give a significant richness to this new recording if we compare it with his previous ones, although, of course, blues is always present in a remarkable permanent way.

The album was recorded live at Robot Studios in Ghent and was mixed by Kid Andersen at Greaseland studios in San Jose, California. This is the second time Andersen has collaborated with Steven Troch and it becomes evident there has always been good feedback between them.

Eleven own songs covering a wide musical range, even making a nod to the old Spanish music, give shape to this album where Steven Troch on vocals leads the whole recording, besides playing harmonica in a personal and balsamic way, showing very good taste and a remarkable technique, perfectly backed by Matti De Rijcke on guitar and vocals, Liesbeth Sprangers on bass and vocals, Bernd Coene on drums, and the collaborations of Luk Vermeir on piano, Bart Vervaeck on pedal steel, John Halbleib on trumpet and Luigi De Gaspari on trombone.
