The one man band music has always been identified with down-home blues This is not the case of Steve Hill who, in all his shows, plays electric guitar, blows harmonica on a neck holder and, with his feet, backs himself on bass drum, snare drum and hi-hats, besides playing other percussion devices fused to the head of his guitar Listening to this album one could easily imagine to be in front of a four or five musician band when, in fact, he is only a one man band called Steve Hill This is why he has a priceless talent which has been praised by Canadian audiences, who have recognized him as one of the most emblematic musicians of that county blues scene, especially after the publication of his previous two recordings In its third album Steve has included twelve songs, nine original ones and three covers, a couple of Muddy Waters’ medleys like Still A Fool & Rollin’ Stone and Rollin’ & Tumblin plus a song qualified as a traditional one called Going Down That Road Feeling Bad This is pure raw wild blues by Steve Hill who feels really comfortable as one man band and invites listeners to participate on a mad journey
