With more than 2.500 shows on his back and many tours in Canada and Europe, singer and multi-instrumentalist Steve Hill is one of the most creative and recognized artists of Canadian scene. He has released eleven albums up to date. This recording was conceived in the fall of 2016, after a trip Steve did to California to attend Desert Trip Festival in Coachella. He was really surprised and impressed with the landscape he saw, that he decided to explore it doing a journey around that area. For three weeks he visited those very special places, which inspired him many of the songs you can find in this album, where he has also in included some of his old compositions. All the songs he has selected passionately reflect a true state of mind he wants to share with all listeners in these difficult times human beings are suffering. Musically speaking, the songs capture different influences coming from folk, country and rock and, of course, fusing them with blues. This is a recording to be calmly and peacefully tasted at night sitting in your favorite home armchair.
