Since the moment that singer, guitar player and songwriter Stacy Mitchhart performed for the first time in Nashville, only aged eighteen, he immediately realized his musical destiny would always belong to that city. In that particular show the audience was amazing, welcoming him with open arms, so he sold the twenty-five albums he had brought to the gig. Soon he was offered to be the house band at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar in Printers Alley. Thanks to the fame of Nashville as a musical city that always gathers a huge number of tourists, every night Stacy’s and his band shows had a different audience coming from the five continents, something that has happened till now, and allows Stacy to perform more than two hundred concerts per year practically without leaving home, which have helped him to get a name and recognition, besides traveling to different countries.

Along the fifteen songs that give shape to the recording, you will discover his deep influences, which mainly go from Nashville music to blues, funky, gospel and Americana. With an accurate song selection, Stacy aims to capture all the energy and the music that you will listen and savor if you can go to one of his shows at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, a place he wants to pay homage with the last song, the popular “Basin Street Blues”, where he also pays tribute to New Orleans music.
