Since the special day singer Stevee Wellons and guitar player Cheryl Rinovato met, they knew that fate had brought them together to develop their musical talent, because chemistry immediately arose between them. Now both women lead the duo Soulful Femme, and they have also gathered an extensive experience in the music business, which is a plus in their career.

Produced by Albert Castiglia, with Dave Gross as sound engineer, the recording includes eleven songs where they have surrounded themselves with some deluxe guests like Tommy Castro, Albert Castiglia or singer and guitar player Kevin Burt, who performs a magnificent duet with Stevee in the song “Insane Asylum”, a dazzling slow song but, at the same time, full of an expressive strength and talent. Besides Stevee on vocals and Cheryl on guitar, the rest of the musicians involved are Michael Bram on drums, Matt Raymond on bass, Doug Woolverton on trumpet, Mark Earley on tenor sax and Dave Gross on Hammond and percussion.

Both women show their qualities and total understanding in a cleverly and carefully selected repertoire, which includes styles ranging from rock to blues, soul and even reggae or pop, along with magnificent arrangements, that contribute that the music of these two excellent performers will immediately catch and connect with most listeners.
