Sonny Moorman is a terrific agressive wild guitar player gifted with a great technique Now he presents two cds, where he shows all his power and passionate tasteful blues, skillfully spiced with some rock and roll drops and the characteristic ‘greasy’ sound of the musicians who have been influenced by southern rock-blues bands such as ZZ Top or Allman Brothers Band But this does not mean his guitar and dobro playing are not in debt with so great masters as Johnny Winter, SRV, Jimmy Hendrix or even British blues musicians as Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck or Eric Clapton In both cds Moorman sounds very inspired with an irresistible playing that will make you to listen both cds again and again With his guitar Sonny creates continuous dopamine and serotonine shocks that will hit the deepest part of your brain, giving you an unforgettable feeling The only remarkable difference between both cds is that Telegraph Road was recorded in studio and By Request 2 was recorded ‘live’
