Electrifying incendiary raw rock-blues guitar riffs, with lyrics that talk about his own life but also about other people lives, is what you will find in this recording. This is the debut album of a brilliant able singer, songwriter and guitar player called Smoking Wolf, a musician who, before starting his own solo career, was playing with some outstanding artists like Johnny Logan or Bobby Kimball. Now aged fifty-six, Wolf has included in the album different stories belonging to his personal life he wants to share with listeners. A magnificent recording with twelve impressive songs where he tastefully combines styles that are close to him, like the ones of ZZ Top, Tom Petty or Rory Gallagher but you can even find influences coming from the southern rock of Allman Brothers Band, Flying Burrito or Poco, pulling out the true essence of blues and, of course, rock music. Besides Smoking Wolf on guitar and vocals, the twelve album songs also include Schnuff on bass, keyboards and vocals and Dirk Seiler, Marco Niemann and Christopher Hafi Hafer alternating on drums. This is an album to be savored not only in happy frenzy moments but also in sad moody hours.
