After more than four years without going to a recording studio, Marc Carpentieri, owner of the independant label MC Records, gave the opportunity to do a new recording to one of the latest living legends of rockabily music, Mr Sleepy La Beef Of course he did not miss that opportunity and chose some of the most well-known country & western, rock ‘n’ roll and blues tunes coming from from Hank Williams to Joe Turner or even Chuck Berry Although this is a presumable and predictable cd, it has been performed with feeling and enthousiasm, which is very important when the man who is playing is 65 years old and has done everything in the musical field His interest and professionalism must be really appreciated
