Sister Mercy is the name of a band which always communicates high doses of energy From Oregon, where they have already conquered the heart of the local audiences, they now present this communicative and really participative recording, where they enthusiastically combine traditional blues rock with some funk and a good dose of what we could define as new gospel, thanks to the incredible and superb vocal qualities of their singer Miss April Brown The rest of the musicians are at the same high quality level, providing the perfect beat and musical connection to make the band sound attractive and colourful You will find Scott Garcia on guitar and vocals, Debby Espinor on keyboards and vocals, John Webb on bass and Roger Espinor on drums and vocals If we compare Sister Mercy new album with their previous one, undoubtedly they have gained in quality, both in terms of song composition, but also in sound, melodies and lyrics, which have got an excellent prose level and a remarkable display In short words, the band has increased in talent and skill, which can be immediately noticed along the ten songs that complete this really interesting recording
