Born in Louisiana about fifty years ago, Sherman Robertson belongs, despite his age, to the new generation of singers and guitar players who skilfully perform Texas blues. Robertson is deeply influenced by Albert Collins, who has always been one of his most admired idols. Anyway, Sherman has his own personal original sound full of hard rocky expressiveness, that has driven him to become one of most interesting actual blues musicians quite unknown until now, although he has been for more than thirty five years on the road and has got some albums on his baggage. In this cd he is backed by a powerful band, The BluesMove, who do a professional intense performing with swingin’ groove and funk. An amazing explosion of Texas blues, spiced with zydeco and soul blues.
