Before the pandemic, singer and guitar player Scott Ellison had his agenda full of shows, festivals and a big schedule of signed gigs. All that disappeared with the arrival of Covid and Scott had to confine himself at home like the rest of the human beings.

What at first sight seemed to be a big setback for him, became the rightest moment to record this excellent album and do it carefully and calmly, taking care about every detail, not only in terms of the song selection but also devoting  time and commitment to show his magnificent guitar solos you will find in most of the album songs, which has given as a result a more than a remarkable recording to be savored many times with a complete delight.

Fourteen songs, most of them co-written by Scott Ellison himself and Michael Price, that move between Chicago most actual blues, Texas shuffles and southern soul blues with a touch of rock. In addition to his emotional guitar playing and his more than accurate raw voice, Scott has counted with the musicians of his usual band which back him on his tours, as well as a bunch of musicians that include members of Eric Clapton’s bands or guitar player Albert Lee coming from Bill Wyman’s group, The Rhythm Kings.

In short words, an album to really enjoy it at any time of day or night. Welcome to the party!!
