Scott Ellison is a guitar player, songwriter and singer coming from Tulsa, Oklahoma For more than thirty years he has developed a huge career, performing at the most famous USA, Canada and United Kingdom venues and festivals Gifted with a gritty broken voice and a very remarkable stage presence he combines with an elegant passionate guitar touch, Ellison now brings us his new album that includes twelve songs, most of them written in collaboration with Chris Campbell, who shares with Scott Ellison the album vocal parts All compositions reflect Scott’s musical influences that go further up the blues, adding elements of Memphis rhythm and blues, Motown touches and even some British blues For those who are not familiar with the work of this guitar player and singer called Scott Ellison, mention he has shared stage with artists like Joe Cocker, Buddy Guy, BB King or Levon Helm among other great musicians and well known superb bands Also most of his songs have been selected for films and television series soundtracks This is a well done and very appetizing recording, especially recommended for all music lovers who not only look for quality, but also want to enjoy listening to flaming very expressive music
