This album is one of these rarities that from time to time appear in the music market to be known by general public In 1993 eclectic guitar player Hans Reffert and strings multi-instrumentalist Adax Dörsam founded the avant-garde duo Schrammel & Slide They published nine instrumental albums of a conceptual great artistic beauty Hans Reffert was born in July of 1946 and unfortunately died in February 2016 Along his career he worked with many musicians of undeniable quality like Catherina Valente or Siegfried Schwab On the other hand Addax Dorsam was born in August 1955 and his career has primarily taken place in live performances, as backing musician of great artists like Rolf Zuckowski or Tony Marshall Both musicians collect and mix totally different sounds that, in their hands, become improvisations with an amazing feeling, thanks to an arsenal of guitars and a feverish orchestrated style based on strings The album gathers twenty four songs rather difficult to classify but quite close to world music
