Once again, tireless Sauce Boss surprises us with a menu made with different dishes and flavors. To whet your appetite, he performs solo the opening song “Little Rhythm And Blues” like a real one-man band, where he praises the culinary and medicinal properties of a dish called blues. Then he plays a special and very unconventional version of Lennon & McCartney’s “The World”, moving on to a slow blues recipe called “Delta 9 Blues” to complete the twelve album songs, where you will find own compositions combined with versions like “Stop Breaking Down” coming from Robert Johnson. “Gloria” by Van Morrison or “I Will Play For Gumbo” by Jimmy Buffet.

Sauce Boss is a very special chef who loves to prepare raw recipes without a side dish or strong spices that hide the original flavor. He prefers to make us taste the roughest blues, cooked with the most primitive ingredients that can be found on the simplest and easy cuisine but, at the same time, full of genuineness.

The album alternates songs he plays solo with others where he is backed by Neal Goree on guitar and Brett Crook on drums. Damon Fowler has also collaborated adding his guitar and lap steel.

A different, original and simple album, where Sauce Boss cooks some dishes with natural plain recipes, to be savored at a porch of a countryside house drinking a beer or a glass of whiskey.
