    Valoración: VERY GOOD

Singer, song writer and keyboards player Sandy Carroll bring us her first album, recorded with the assistance of her husband and sound engineer Jim Gaines. It is the first time they work together and the result is completely satisfactory. ‘Delta Techno’ is not properly a blues album, but over all a green light, a vital experiment where Sandy lets her creativity run free in completely different musical styles. You will find a record where pre-recorded sounds, samples and other studio techniques prevail. The result is a high quality recording and do not forget that sound engineer and producer is Jim Gaines, who has worked with Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert Collins, John Lee Hooker or George Thorogood among other reputed musicians. If you like eighties ‘techno’ music and singers like Grace Jones or Amanda Lear, you will enjoy this cd but, if you look for real blues, you should better forget it.
