This is a good example of the clever mixture of funky music with seventies southern rock, Americana, rockin’ boogie, country rock and hard road blues The Rufus Huff are Jarred England on vocals, Greg Martin on guitars, Dean Smith on bass and Chris Hardesty on drums and percussion The Rufus music gathers different influences, from Jimi Hendrix Band Of Gypsies to early Led Zeppelin band, Jeff Beck, Cream, Cactus or Mountain and even ZZ Top An impressing four musicians band coming from the center of Kentucky, with a flaming aggressive straight music that carries off everything in their path, with electrifying fireworking swingin’ guitars, a hypnotic insistent bass and drums rhythm and finally a terrific rocky voice with amazing octaves The perfect teamed atmosphere all the musicians get is splendid and vitalist Except a few overdubs, the cd was recorded live at the Barrick Recording Studios Here comes the final result of these sessions You will surely enjoy it for a long time!
