In the last few years The Royal Southern Brotherhood have managed to build up an excellent reputation among contemporary rock-blues lovers Few things can be said about them followers and fans do not already know With this new fourth album, they confirm they have reached a real maturity in their performing, as well as a highest visibility so far Led by creative and productive Cyril Neville, who has written half of the album songs, he has also counted with the collaboration of Bart Walker and Tyrone Vaughan who, besides the band guitarists, have provided new ideas to Cyril’s proposals Yonrico Scott on drums, Darrell Phillips on bass, plus Norman Caesar on Hammond B-3 complete the band and give a solid strong rhythm base to develop all their musical ideas, always from a very cool open mind and, in this way, create a suggestive wrapping repertoire, while displaying an extensive range of rhythms and textures close to the most actual black music, without forgetting the true inspiring old deep tradition
