Roots-funk, rockin’ blues and dragged gothic garage blues-punk can be found in the music of this band called Roughmax And The Steamrollers, an Italian independent group led by bass player, singer, composer and producer Rough Max (Max Pieri) who, after going for some time through rock music, has decided to come back to the origins that forged him as bass player and composer Since year 2015 he has started a solo career, surrounding himself by some open minded, unprejudiced, ready to do their best musicians, such as Luciano Lucky Pesce on piano, keyboard and vocals and Corrado D’Amato on drums, percussion and vocals The trio has decided to work their heart out and risk themselves on an album where you will also find Martino Palmisano on harmonica in a song and Sebastiano Lillo on guitar in another cut Nine Rough Max’ own compositions give shape to a different recording, where he shows his most raw but, at the same time, most clever facet, as well as making listeners discover the actual diversity of Italian scene
