Honkers, shouters, swing, jump This is the incredible come back of this great singer called Rosco Gordon with an exceptional piece of work R&B lovers will certainly remember his old hit Booted that became a national hit on r&b charts That happened in February 1952 with Sam Phillips doing the recording production and, iof I am not wrong, it was published by Chess Records And now, about 50 years later, Rosco Gordon comes back with an unusual strength and renovated dynamism Duke Robillard is on guitar and, as usual, he does a creative efficient good work The result is an excellent album with a superb production too This is a cd that must have a preferent place in any blues collection And also my congratulations to Mr Todd Glazer for his professional work with cd distribution
