In 1967 a group of blues passionate teenager friends decided to found a band they called The Roomful Of Blues Among them was guitar player Chris Vachon who today still leads the impressive band line-up Over the years, countless renowned musicians have been part of the group, with others who unfortunately passed away Now, besides Chris Vachon, you will also find Phil Pemberton on vocals, Rusty Scott on keyboards, Rich Lataille on alto and tenor sax, Alek Razdan on baritone and tenor sax, Carl Gerhard on trumpet, John Turner on double bass and Chris Anzalone on drums During all these years the band has not stopped to communicate energy, good vibrations, swing, fun and excellent music to all their fans and followers who can be counted by legions, thanks to a musical power that embraces jump blues, swing, funk, classic rhythm and blues, as well as the most contemporary blues, even with a tribute to New Orleans blues in the path of Dr John, with the song She Quit Me Again Since the moment they joined Alligator Records catalog in 2003, their fame has not stopped to grow This is the sixth album for Alligator and includes thirteen songs, nine of them the band own compositions, which allow us to appreciate the musician’s experience, quality and professional displaying, in a remarkable recording with notable arrangements, that create an amazing sound richness
