As many of you already know, Ronnie Earl is one of the most interesting guitar players of contemporary blues scene Ronnie is a high quality, versatile very creative musician, gifted with a huge talent and musical technique He is into the music business for some decades and has played with great names of the blues scene He has also been member of bands like Sugar Ray & The Bluetones on the seventies or The Roomful Of Blues in the eighties His musical influences are really wide, as he has found inspiration on sources like Otis Rush, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters or Louis Myers, but also on different jazzmen like John Coltrane, Kenny Burell or Grant Green among others The cd brings us Ronnie on a very relaxed calm performing, self confident, with an enormous sensibility in the way he combines jazz and blues Seventy eight minutes of good music in eleven songs, all them instrumental ones
