Ron Tanski is a singer and piano player who has hit deep in my heart With great pleasure I have listened and tasted his warm, straight powerful music Ron develops his flaming rock and roll, boogie-woogie and blues without unnecessary affectation or imposture, his music is passionate and sincere with a natural talent for give us pleasure day and night Ron’s music includes all the essential elements to enjoy a good time After his first cd where most of the songs were only played with piano and vocals, in this second album Ron has decided to present some of the songs he usually plays with his band, giving free rein to his most hidden feelings Often he has been compared with Tom Waits or Joe Cocker and as he usually says I don’t know if this is true or not, but I accept it and I am proud This album covers a broad range of different styles, including gospel, southern fried rock and blue-eyed soul In short words, this is a great album of whisky piano blues bar to enjoy it again and again
