Piano player, song writer and singer, Ron Tanski sounds different and original Although his parents did not have many economical resources, Ron never lacked a piano to learn and practice music, a talent his parents discovered on him when he was only five years old Ron fell in love with blues listening and tuning different radio stations every night When Ron Tanski was fourteen, he decided he wanted to sing like black people, so he began to smoke cigars and drink whiskey tonic to tan his voice His musical influences cover several styles and some of their favorite bands and singers are The Beatles, Dr John, Billy Preston, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bessie Smith, Tom Waits, Howlin’ Wolf, Mozart, Etta James, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other less known artists You will find in this album different combinations and influences of the previous mentioned names, but over all, the hallmark of New Orleans piano players, performed with an amazing imagination, deep feeling and great passion
