Rody Herrera is a Spanish musician who was born in Asturias in 1959 and spent his first years in Madrid When he was only thirteen he began to play guitar but it was not until the middle of the eighties when he began to forge his way as a musician in different folk bands ‘La Vida Es Un Blues’ is Rody’s first piece of work he publishes under his own name where he tastefully develops a cleverly mixture of blues, folk, ballads, bossa and some pop rhythms with excellent results Rody plays acoustic guitar, harmonica and sings too, Alvaro BÁrcena plays electric guitars, Daniel Bárcena at drums, Fernando Malva at keyboards and Diego Tioda at bass It is a warm instimistic loving cd full of tasteful good passages
