This album by Canadian singer, guitar player and songwriter Rob Lutes was recorded during fall 2020 in full confinement. Under those circumstances, all songs had to be recorded in six different studios with the musicians totally isolated and not playing together, in order to respect such restrictive laws. But all those really unexpected circumstances did not prevent all songs got an undeniable union and understanding among the participant musicians, as well as the passion, deep feeling, freedom and joy of living Rob Lutes was able to communicate during the whole recording. This is his eighth release that features eleven own compositions plus a version of “In My Time Of Dyin'”, where Lutes gives us, not only his poetic lyrics but also his fingerpickin’ technique and a distinctive voice, perfect to approach a repertoire of Americana roots music, blues, folk and pop. Rob Lutes is backed by Rob MacDonald on electric and acoustic guitar, dobro and mandolin, Bob Stagg on piano, wurlitzer and organ, Solon McDade on bass, Mario Telaro on drums and the backing vocals of Annabelle Chvostek and Kim Richardson.
