Under the good hands of Wolf Records from Austria, comes this amazing cd including nineteen tracks and an interview with great RL Burnside, a Mississippi bluesman belonging to the second generation of country blues, along with the late James ‘Son’ Thomas RL Burnside is the father of six children, all related with music business but, in these recordings, you will only find Daniel Burnside playing bass in one track The slbum gathers different recordings of 1975, 1989 and 1991 All songs were recorded live from three different houses front porch, those for 1975 in Senatobia, MS, those of 89 in Holy Springs, MS and those ones for 91 in Coldwater in Mississippi RL Burnside combines songs played with acoustic and electric guitar, with a simple innocence and an enormous personal commitment The sessions are very intense and really interesting
