Rick Derringer is one of the most demanded rock guitar players nowadays. As a session musician he has backed artists like Cyndi Lauper, Barbra Streisand, Steely Dan, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler or Johnny and Edgar Winter among many others.

A such versatile like Derringer is able to face with reliability different and varied styles. In this case and, together with his wife Jenda Derringer, he presents a very intimistic project with eight songs composed by the couple except “If I Weren’t So Romantic” written in collaboration with Alice Cooper and Bernie Taupin.

Despite this is not a blues recording or anything that looks like, the variety of styles and Rick Derringer’s guitar quality become evident along all the album songs that, sometimes, could remind us Beatles pop. Derringer tells us about sad situations, but also about love to human beings or the pride and love he feels for his country USA.

Rick Derringer is on vocals, guitar and bass in all tracks and he also dares to play keyboards and drums in a song and Jenda Derringer is on vocals. They have counted with the collaboration of drummers Frank Starchak, Rob Manuel, Carmine Appice and Dave Reinhard, who is also on organ in a song.
