Richard Rozze is an eclectic British guitar player, singer, composer and arranger, who controls different musical styles like Celtic music, jazz or bluegrass among others. He has also graduated at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

For some time now, Rozze has more intensively devoted himself to music. As a result, he released his debut album “Learning To Fly”, focused on jazz, counting with the collaboration of Jimmy Webb in the arrangements.

Now he presents his latest recording “Lion” where he has decided to focus on a more rock and blues repertoire, he develops with good taste and elegance along ten totally timeless and sometimes quite intimate own compositions, that show his quality and honesty as well as his tireless efforts to forge himself a career in the difficult music business.

Besides showing a good dose of versatility and emotional feelings in his performing, Richard Rozze has surrounded himself with two high quality musicians like bass player Jonathan Noyce who for twelve years has been member of Jethro Tull’s band and regularly collaborated with Gary Moore, plus drummer Simon Lea who has worked with Dionne Warwick. Ronnie Wood or Boy George.

An album that shows the possibilities of an artist who presents a distinctive personal conception of the music he plays, in order to distinguish himself from the rest of the actual blues rock performers.
