Reverend Freakchild is a totally different musician of what one could expect of an artist with these features As was said in Living Blues Magazine, his attitude is irreverent but his enthusiasm for the blues is clear and undeniable A tireless worker, the Reverend never gets defeated by adverse circumstances, so he never gets discouraged in front of life setbacks, as happened to him in San Francisco when all his guitars, his gear and belongings were stolen The Reverend Freakchild managed to get another resonator guitar and he continued playing and preaching his blues message Since that particular moment, things started to improve in his life, as he was booked to play at various festivals and he was able to record this album at KBOO studios in Portland, Oregon This recording is a good test to see the musical talent of an artist who many times has been a loser but, since a singular moment in his life, with determination and good will he has been able to turn adversity into new opportunities, the ones life is now giving him
