René Huard is a veteran musician of Canadian roots music scene. For nearly forty years René has developed a fruitful career that has led him to be very well considered among general audiences and other musicians. At the beginning of his musical career Huard was member of The Meteors, opening for big artists like James Cotton, Long John Baldry or the legendary Downchild Blues Band, in addition of being selected to participate at first edition of renowned Ottawa Blues Festival, besides hosting some very popular television shows in Canada.

After years of working with different bands, René Huard has started his own project, leading his group as singer and composer, although sometimes he also dares to play harmonica, guitar and piano.

This album has been produced by Jack de Keyzer, who also plays guitar, together with Eric Lambier on keyboards, Alec Fraser Jr. Bass and Al Cross on drums and percussion and, of course, René Huard on vocals, harmonica, rhythm and slide guitars.

Twelve own compositions give shape to this new album, displayed on a fresh attractive way, where the sounds of blues mixed with the flavor of roots music sound totally teamed and convincing. For René it is never too late to continue working hard to give all listeners a dose of good music developed with good taste, much passion and commitment.
