Lonesome Traveler’s Blues is an album with ten splendid tracks, performed with deep passion by a bunch of musicians who love and respect what they play The band explores the different ways of southern music, from Americana to blues and they do it with the preeminence of acoustic guitars, the National guitar, or even an electric one The album is lively and varied, as RB Stone and his musicians perform with conviction, shuffles, rhumba blues, hard boogie blues and even a slow minor key eight bar blues entitled, Find Yourself A Fool All compositions are RB Stone ones, who also plays acoustic guitar and harmonica The other band members are of Glen Kuykendall on acoustic and National guitars, Billy Crain acoustic and electric guitar, Jared ‘Jay’ Palmer on electric bass, David Sappington on drums and Ed Adkins on acoustic bass A restrained unsophisticated cd with many interesting touches to please listeners
