Excellent well braided album full of bright inspired twinkling moments performed by two impressive musicians, jazz and groove organ and keyboards player Raphael Wressnig and blues guitar player Alex Schultz (member for some years of Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers), who have joined forces and creativity to produce Don’t Be Afraid To Groove Ten cool intense songs, all recorded in Austria with a perfect mixture of Afroamerican music such as jazz, shuffles, soul or funk Some reputed guest musicians complete the cd, Lukas Knofler on drums, Sax Gordon Beadle and Christian Bachner on saxo, Eric Bloom on trumpet and Luis Ribeiro on percussion In short words, a totally instrumental cd where you will ooze the music of Lou Donaldson, but also Jimmy Smith, Marvin Gaye or even Earl King influences, all them with the personal touch of these two genius who are Alex Schultz and Raphael Wressing
