Many female voices are now emerging in the Spanish blues scene This is the case of Rachel Reyes who, together with her Fireballs, is managing to get a place not only in Madrid scene but also into a national level The musical conception of this young band is strongly influenced by blues, without forgetting soul, gospel, rhythm & blues or even funk, in order to create and develop different rhythms that immediately connect with the audience in a highly suggestive and wrapping way Thanks to their two recordings I have on hands She Got Balls that includes Rachel Reyes on vocals, Victor Sánchez on guitar, Moisés Pindado on bass and Adrián Carrera on drums and Live, recorded live from the Cultural Center of Paracuellos del Jarama with some new band members like the excellent guitar player Javi Suárez, together with Alvar García on bass and, once again, Adrian Carrera on drums, you will be able to appreciate the evolution of this new band, always led by the suggestive voice of Rachel Reyes, a performer who gives the best of herself and feels with passion the hottest black music rhythms
