Ram McCullough’s musical career began during the sixties and seventies At that time he used to share stage with such legendary British legends like Rory Gallagher, Van Morrison or John Mayall Unfortunately his promising career was truncated due to North Ireland political situation When he was getting more media success and popularity, he decided to retire of music and take care of his family who were suffering war calamities Fortunately political situation got better during the nineties and finally Rab went on doing what he really knows to do, that is to say, sing and play blues In this last piece of work published a few months ago, Mcullough clearly shows that he undoubtedly was born to play the blues His passionate flaming style soaks to the deepest part of your soul It is a perfect record for discerning palates whIch enjoy savoring good contemporary blues
