This Tuscarola Indian artist comes back with a new project on her back, to give us a restrained, quiet, simple but at the same time generous work, on a collection of seventeen songs, all them performed with a humble respectful attitude These are some of the qualities of a woman, who also gives a cool mastery talent to her well-structured content and formal speech Pura Fé combines tradition and modernity, matching ancient and contemporary music, The result is a particular style, with blues, folk and even some drops of rap, on a kind of music we could describe as ‘world music’, a quite popular term nowadays but that really defines the music she plays Once again, Danny Gordinez’ figure merges with a remarkable collaboration and writing a couple of interesting things as well There are also grateful punctual contributions of Joe Raven, Farko Dosumov, Carl Morin, Rhiannon Giddens or The Carolina Chocolate Drops among other names
