For more than twenty years Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have been keeping alive the flame of Memphis and New Orleans rhythm and blues Keyboard player, singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer Aaron L Hurwitz, well known as Professor Louie, skillfully and firmly leads his Crowmatix, with Miss Marie on vocals, John Platania on guitar and vocals, Gary Burke on drums and Frank Campbell on bass and vocals With the support of The Woodstock Horns in some songs, they come now with a new album, the second of 2019 and the fifteenth in their career, with and appealing collection of good songs Eight original ones plus a couple of versions Orange Juice Blues by The Band and Please Send Me Someone To Love coming from Percy Mayfield round up a recording with a variety of different blues and rhythm and blues influences, from shuffles to bayou blues, swamp pop or even barrelhouse Grammy Award nominated, more than one hundred and fifty shows per year give reliability to the good work coming from Professor Louie and his Crowmatix
