He is a passionate blues lover so, since middle nineties, he has devoted his life to promote this kind of music by publishing different cds, all them performed with the dashing personal guitar style, some of them with more skill than others but all done with great honesty and an unquestionable professionalism. “Ten Years With” includes two cds, one in studio and the other one recorded live. Two hours thirty five minutes of flaming passionate rock/blues in the habitual path Popa normally does. The tunes selection has been done by Popa himself, plus the collaboration in some tracks of his beloved Galea and Paul Personne exceptional guitar work in classic Willie Dixon’s “I Can’t Quit You Baby”.
