Popa Chubby is well known for his skills as a spectacular guitar player who cleverly mixes blues and rock, always presenting his music with a terrific energy and an excellent development which completely satisfy a wide audience.

This time he has released an album where he plays most of the instruments, in addition to be in charge of recording and mixtures. Besides nine own compositions and a bonus track, Popa Chubby also wants to pay homage to two blues “fathers” like were Muddy Waters and Elmore James by including the songs “Hoochie Coochie Man” and “Dust My Broom”. As a curiosity mention the song “Why You Want To Make War” is presented in two versions, one sung in English and the other one in French. Virtuoso harmonica player Jason Ricci also participates in a couple of excellent cuts.

Pure dynamite and incendiary guitar solos are present in most of the repertoire, not to mention the powerful slide touches that make Popa Chubby stand again as the absolute star of a well-dressed album with enough muscle to not get unnoticed by any rock-blues lover.
