    Valoración: VERY GOOD

Philipp Fankhauser is a singer and guitar player with an undeniable class, good taste and feeling. Now, together with his band, he presents two excellent solid albums. He pays a respectful and passionate tribute along the ‘live’ album to the great masters, such as Big Bill Broonzy, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Louis Jordan, Jimmy Rogers or Jimmy Witherspoon among others, with such classic blues songs like “I Feel So Good”, “That’s Allright”, “Baby Please Don’t Go” or “Early In The Morning”. More than sixty minutes of amazing blues, plus three video tunes complete the first cd. In the second one, Phillip presents ten perfectly built songs over the basis of exceptional arrangements. The majority are own songs, but he also includes two versions of one of his musical heroes Mr. Johnny Copeland. More than twenty musicians have collaborated along this ‘”Talk To Me” have made possible Fankhauser gives us a more elaborated work where he has looked for a more ambitious cool risky project. And I think he has really got it.
