Singer and guitar player Pierluigi Petricca began his career as leader of Papaleg Blues Band, which in 2005 became Papaleg Acoustic Duo together with Marco Tinari. Both musicians shared their passion and devotion to the Mississippi blues masters like Son House, Charlie Patton, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Bukka White, Furry Lewis, Mississippi Fred McDowell or Big Bill Broonzy. In 2010 Pierluigi and Marco made an inspiration journey to United States to immerse themselves in the essence and acquire more knowledge of Mississippi music.

Since 2011 Pierluigi has started a one man band career playing in small clubs, bars, pubs and occasionally at European festivals and even in the streets of different cities.

With two albums recorded in duo format and one as one man band, Pierluigi presents his second solo album with nine personal, hypnotic and intimate songs that allow us to listen to his more simple but, at the same time, full of an enormous rawness facet, where he sings, plays acoustic guitar, dobro, cajon, cabasa, shaker, hi-hat and foot-stomp, while Roughmax Pieri plays bass in three songs.
