From 2005 we move on to 2015 with this second album by Petra Börnerová, this time as a duo, in acoustic format and with harmonica player Besenyei Csaba, together with a series of guest musicians.

The album was recorded live in two sessions that took place on March 20 and June 18, 2015 at the Indies studios in Brno and, this time, it presents Petra in a much more intimate and rural facet than in the previous one, combining own compositions written by Petra and her partner Tomás Bobrovnickzký, with some standards like “Walkin’ Blues Again” and two versions of the song “Don’t Ever Let Nobody Drag Your Spirit Down” (the second one as a tribute to B.B. King) by Eric Bibb, “Perpetual Blues Machine” by Keb’ Mo, “I Need Money” by Hans Theessink, “Mama, Talk To Your Daughter” by J.B. Lenoir, “Dust My Broom” by Robert Johnson and “Walk On” by Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, to complete the fifteen songs that make up this album.

A good bunch of guest musicians have collaborated on the album, like his son Tomás Bobrovnickzký Jr., aged 6 on drums, of course his partner Tomás Bobrovnickzký on acoustic and resophonic guitar, Besenyeo Czsaba on harmonica, Bornemissza Ádám on bass, Gwynn Asthon on lap steel guitar and Juraj Dura Turtev on backing vocals.

An intimate album, but at the same time with a remarkable warmth, perfect to listen to it, to relax yourself and savor the sounds of rural blues performed by this good cast of Czech musicians.
