Peter Storm & The Blues Society is a well-known band among Portuguese fans. After being selected to represent Portugal at the European Blues Challenge 2022 in Malmö (Sweden), they have decided to take a step forward and go all out to conquer the European market. To do so, they have recorded this album for Belgian company Naked, hoping to catch a wide audience. Their music is varied, not noisy or loud and their musical environment can be found among the different fields and musical styles that nourish them, especially in rock and roll and blues, mostly performed in a wrapping hypnotic way, with a marked sense of rhythm, that makes as a result a magical and often mysterious sound.

The band includes Joao Belchior on vocals and guitar, Bino Ribeiro on guitar, harmonica and vocals, José Reis on bass and vocals, Jorge “Mr. Shuffle” Oliveira on drums, percussion and vocals, plus the collaboration of Sam Silva on tenor sax on the song “Beatrice”.

PS&TBS produced the album, which has been recorded by engineer Marco Jung, who has also been in charge of mixing and mastering it, making as a result a more than a remarkable work.
