Blue Storm records has done an important effort with the initiative of publishing a new Peter Green’s album with the band that usually backs him since his return to music some years ago But the question is, is Green in physical, mental and musical conditions to do new recordings especially if they are not completely devoted to blues? It’s quite surprising the cd does not include any Green’s own compositions or at least some ‘covers’ of important blues musicians like Robert Johnson he greatly admired I do not want to jump to conclusions but, could not be possible there is a set up to earn money at this mythical British blues name expense, who unfortunately has been touched by misfortune and illness? Anyway, the cd includes beautiful ballads, pop, blues and rock songs with seventies influences, perfectly recorded and produced, with a neat clear sound, that will certainly satisfy a wide audience
