Paul Péchenart is a French singer, songwriter, guitar player and founder of rock and punk-rock group, Dogs. Like many other musicians of his generation, he grew up listening to The Who, Steppenwolf, Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground or Led Zeppelin.

Although his career has mostly developed in rock, punk and alternative music fields, his love for the blues has let him to back and record with artists like Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Champion Jack Dupree, Luther Allison, Hubert Sumlin or Sonny Rhodes.

This is not a blues album, but a recording where Paul presents his most introspective vein, developing a kind of music that brings us closer to styles like pop, ballad or folk and he even gives us some alternative rhythms that, sometimes, could remind the origins of punk music always full of nuances and rich sonorities, he has been treasuring along his wide career.

This is a simple album, far away from sound effects and artificial affectations, gifted with a spontaneous value that reflects the personality of a musician who does not side with anyone and always acts as a free rider.
