Paul Orta is an harmonica player from Texas who has got a good reputation in Austin, Dallas and Houston areas Along his wide career Paul has shared stage with Jimmy Rogers, Pinetop Perkins, Eddie Taylor, Luther Allison or Hubert Sumlin among many others On the other hand, Tonky de la Peña is one of the legendary names of Spanish blues scene and some great musicians like Ñaco Goñi, Francisco Simón, Adrián Costa or Marcos Coll got experience in his band As a result of some shows together, there appeared a good feedback and a musical communication between Paul Orta and Tonky, strong enough to make them decide to record together This is the second album done in mutual collaboration, where they show all their knowledge, strength, potential and maturity along six classic blues songs like Chicken Shack, Take Out Some Insurance, Hard Hearted Woman, Shake Rattle and Roll, Everything Gonna Be Alright and One Way Out, besides one Tonky’s song Texas Gulf Fiesta, another one coming from Paul Orta, Babe and, finally, one signed by both musicians Hard Times Blues that gives title to the cd Paul Orta, on harmonica and vocals, Tonky de la Peña guitar, Ricky Avila on drums and Adrián Carrera on drums sign an album of pure raw and devastating blues
