British harmonica player Paul Lamb together by his band The King Snakes give us their new project, which is a cool suggestive mixture of original material with traditional blues, rhythm and blues and roots rock, all performed with a powerful groove and a careful well done beat As usual Paul Lamb is surrounded by Chad Strentz on vocals and second guitar, Rob Demick on bass and vocals, his son Ryan on lead guitar and vocals and Dino Coccia on drums and vocals This virtuoso harmonica player includes nine original own songs, plus some versions coming from Smokey Robinson or Brownie McGhee From classic blues-rock and r&b in songs like Jumpin’ Little Judy, Making A Chance or Why Down Low, to the deep vigorous soul of Sometime Tomorrow, the gospel airs of A Better Place To Be or even the amazing swing of his cover of Gary Moore’s song Still Got The Blues For You, come together in this album, where the diversity and quality can be found in equal parts, thanks to the talent of these musicians who, all together, are Paul Lamb & The King Snakes
