Coming from Canada and led by singer and guitar player Paul DesLauriers along with Sam Harrisson on drums and Alec McElcheran on bass, Paul DesLauriers Band confirm they are an electrifying power-blues trio with an excellent delivery, which have managed to appear with an incredible strength to conquer the hearts of this blues style fans Second place at 2016 International Blues Challenge, the good job they did led them to record their first album Since then on they have not stopped to play and call the attention of specialized media which have noticed them and have given a bunch of good reviews This second album was recorded during breaks from tours in Canada, USA and Europe The recording gathers twelve own band songs and a version of Jumpin’ At Shadows, a song popularized by the always missed Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac of the good times You will also find JP Soars on guitar in one song, Lance Anderson on organ in two tracks and Greg Morency on bass in six more With this album, Paul DesLauriers’ trio shows some of what they are able to give to the most actual hard and overwhelming power-blues scene
